TrustPagesBot
Last updated: July 8, 2026
What it does
TrustPagesBot reads publicly published sub-processor and privacy pages, once a day per page, and records what changed between readings. It reads pages; it does not submit forms, follow links onto pages it was not pointed at, or collect personal data.
It identifies itself as TrustPagesBot when it asks for your robots.txt.
Refusing it
For the pages in our public vendor directory — pages we chose to read, on nobody's instruction but our own — a Disallow in your robots.txt stops us, and the directory page then says so rather than showing a list that has quietly stopped being updated:
User-agent: TrustPagesBot Disallow: /
A page one of our customers has configured for their own monitoring is fetched because that customer told us to, under our Terms, which require them to have the right to monitor it. If you want such monitoring stopped, write to support@usetrustpages.com and we will look into it — we would rather hear from you than have you block us at the edge.
Load
One request per monitored page per day. If a page is behind a bot challenge we may load it once in a headless browser instead, subject to a hard daily cap per page. If our traffic is ever a problem for you, tell us and we will slow down or stop.
